A recruiter reached out to me for a Mechanical engineering-related position.
I hadn’t heard about them but spent some time researching about them and they seemed to be pretty clear on the focus, the business model and how they want to scale.
Definitely got me interested !

I would like to hear from people current working there/ who have recently interviewed.
Anything you can comment on how/what you liked/disliked. Hows the day to day ?
How were the interviews?
Anything helps :)

  • Generally a pretty good place to work. Offers are pretty good right now. My offer was competitive with FAANG (but didn’t quite beat my FAANG offers). Company is public also so you can sell RSUs.

The company has good culture and wlb is pretty good (better than what I normally see at AV companies). They are a bit careful about who they hire but also going through hyper growth so need to hire a lot.

Negative is that it’s a high risk stock. Also with the rapid growth things change fast. Not necessarily a bad thing but I suspect we will have much less of the small company feeling a year from now.

      Thank you !

      That’s very encouraging to hear.

Definitely a risk in terms of stock volatility but I guess the frontloaded RSUs are nice.

I've been approached as well (for an ML lead role). Looks like they are hiring a lot, from a current size of about 250 to get to like 300. Still undecided if to interview (slow on their side, and I'm not pushing either), but if I do go to next stage, can post details.
