Should I switch from 200k fully remote to 300k in NYC?

Have an offer for 300k at Two Sigma in NYC. Currently make 200k fully remote in Atlanta.
Seems like the main draw of NYC on blind is “it’s fun when you’re single”. But I’m married and mid/late 20s
After NYC taxes and an extra 2k in rent/month the increase in pay doesn’t even seem that large. Biggest pro seems to be that Two Sigma comp can balloon after a couple years. But it’s not remote and less PTO, also the weather sucks
Would you take the job? Is it dumb to leave that kind of money on the table? Dumb to willingly give up a fully remote job if I’m happy and financially comfortable?
Help me decide :(

You get slammed with the NYC tax, NY state tax, crazy rent (I have to split a 1 br with my gf), and over dependence on seamless.
I am curious though, how far does 200k get you in Atlanta?
This is kind of my hang up: I feel like I’ve already “made it”, but the idea of chasing TC is so ingrained in my brain
@TS, do you feel like the policy is a valid option for people who want to WFH, or is it a nudge to get people back in the nyc area?
That said, it might be more than a difference of only 100k. Doesn’t 2 sigma give out FAT bonuses? Like you might be able to live a lot more comfortably in NY long term than you believe.
