6 rejections in a single day, 14 since Monday, resume screening phase, new grad position, no name companies. I have 2 SW internships, doing MS in CS in the US, 3.7 GPA. Wtf are they looking for ?? Not even a chance to prove oneself. This is ridiculous !

Edit: everyone asked for my resume. Here it is:

TC: None

What the f#$% are companies looking for ??

  • You’re a new grad. Probably the most competitive time in your career.

By competitive do you mean “easiest to get a job?”

Opposite - you compete with a lot of other people with very little difference.

Remove grad dates from your past school dates. Move edu at the bottom.

Where’s your exec summary? Write two or three sentences that sums up your resume and put it at the top.

You're looking for experienced people and want to pay new grad compensation. There aren't jobs in the industry that need standing out. Trust me. The industry needs workers to exploit with the right attitude and meet the high bar to become 'yes people'. Trust me.
