i have a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. i have been working as a software engineer for 3 years at tmobile. i am trying to move to the big 4 companies. i am getting interviews and i feel that i do very well in them. i feel the only reason i do not get offers is because i do not have a CS degree. hence, im trying to do Online masters in CS. what do you guys think about CS fullerton’s online masters in software engineering? it is a cohort based 22 month program. http://www.fullerton.edu/ecs/mse/ TC: 135K YOE: 3
Georgia Tech is very good and also super difficult to complete ..dropout rate is 40% ...
My chances of getting in very slim.. since I don’t have a great gpa. Do you know of any other good online programs?
With 3 years as a SWE, you still may have a chance with a weak GPA in GT OMSCS. I've know somebody with poor academics getting in, with good recommendation letters and due to solid work experience. The admission bar is pretty low, but classes are though, that's why the drop out rate is so high. It might be worth your while to apply in GT.
A lot of people don’t have a master degree either and they still get in. It’s about how well you do in the interviews. Stats, not feelings. If you do a master and others do better than you in interviews then they will still get picked over you. MSCS is better than MSE.
Thank you! Do you have any suggestions on any good online masters in CS programs? Those particularly not requiring any gre or letter of recs?
Do MS in Leetcode. You will do better for free😀

Why not do Georgia Tech’s online MS course? Supposed to be one of the best out there
I don’t have a great gpa.. so my chances are very low. Do you have any other online good CS program suggestions?
My only suggestions would be GT and UIUC. Gpa is a factor, but online courses are typically done by SWEs, so work experience would definitely help.
