onsite FB NYC vs MPK?
hey all, i have an upcoming onsite at FB. debating if i should go to NYC or the HQ at MPK. im on the east coast so NYC is easier for transit, but the role is probably for MPK anyways given HC the question is there difference in terms of process or perceived difficulty given the popularity of NYC? it’s for a UX role
It’s the same process regardless of location. If you’re more interested in relocating to mpk though, I would interview there to get a taste of what it’d be like to work and live there.
Ah thanks and good to know! If you don’t mind me asking how do you find the commute to MPK?
It depends on where you decide to live. Fb has shuttles all over the bay. The commute from sf is pretty bad, lots of traffic in the morning and evening
Both are the same in terms of process and difficulty. NYC v bay depends on preferences; I don’t mind it out here at all but some people (above) clearly do.
