SAP Vancouver Canada New Grad offer
Little bit of background about myself: School: Simon Fraser University with CS Bachelor Internship: SAP Vancouver Canada (received return offer then but didn't take it) How much would I expect for their Software Engineer new grad comp? Base/Stock/Signon There are very few data points on the internet. And would like to ask people opinion. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Also, would SAP Canada a good place to start as a New grad if my goal is to get into bigger company in the future? (In Canada for now)
Why not go straight to "bigger companies"?
I tried. I recently did an interview with Amazon. Passed the OA, had 3-4 of the phone interview covering both technical and behaviour questions. Didn't get invited for on site interview though. Do you also work in the SAP Canada (Vancouver)? How is the job opportunity and career trajectory over there?
You were there for internship. You should already know the answers 😉
I'm guessing 70-80k. Probably a good company to start at to get your resume noticed by Amazon-like companies here. However, you already have SAP on your resume from the internship, so ideally you should have gotten into Amazon or co as a new grad.
it's more like 88k TC I think. It's a great company to start your career with actually.
2-3 years ago fresh grad gets 80k base and 8-15k bonus depending on your negotiation skill and interview performance. Lunch money 2.5k, some free money for pension plan outside matching contribution, and 40% off stock up to 10% of your salary. Quite good given the workload and effort to stay around.
what TC did you end up getting?

I just graduated from SFU and looking for job right now. Hence, got no TC.
