Hey Adobe employees, I'm hoping to make a jump over to your company as a technical evangelist for the Microsoft partnership. Does anyone know what's going on with this team/division? Anyone talk pay/benefits/work culture? What's great/sucks about Adobe?

The team that is managing the relationship is brand new, so there is room to make a name for yourself. Not sure if the evangelist role is on that team though, I think I read that it is on a different team, which has been together for a few years, so it could be hard to make a mark if it is that team.
Either way, Adobe's culture is amazing in terms of work/life balance, so that's something good if you are looking for it. Some seem to say that our compensation is below market.
The only real problem I can think of is that we have had similar situations in the past, with SAP for instance. If for some reason the relationship with Microsoft turned sour, which is nothing unusual, then you would be in a tough spot.
You should ask your friend to follow up directly with the hiring manager.
