I can’t speak to the whole industry of tech recruiting but I can tell you recruiters here at Meta treat candidates like gold. I know candidates can spend months in preparation for interviews. I know blood, sweat and tears go into practicing leet code questions and studying system designs.
We’ll send you technical prep, go over it with you and give you the results as soon as we know. We’ll also advocate for you in hiring committee and beg comp to give you as much as we can.
We’ll working with you as much as you work with us. And please remember, we are people too and please be patient with us.
I always tell my candidates to feel free to reach out to me via text or email as my days get really busy with but I will always respond within 24 hours.
Plaid is looking for full life cycle recruiters while Stripe will probably have a sourcer/ recruiter set up similar to Meta (depending on the team). Stripe is also pretty established with 4k people and recruiting processes in place where you can iterate on it.
Also pre-ipo but at the later stages where you wont get that much stock joining now.
