Amazon can suck if you get a bad team but it’s more stable, and like others said, you’ll learn a ton
Upside potential is bigger than Amazon but so is downside potential
I reneged on Amazon for affirm and I'd do that decision again without a sweat. Imagine dealing with PIP possibility, incredibly backloaded stocks, terrible wlb, lower TC, and not even being put on a team which u wanted (it's randomized).
I'm not sure if MN falls under the same cost of living band, but I've heard that people in Denver, Atlanta, and I think North Carolina had the following package:
122k base, 100k/3 years RSU 1, 60k/2 years RSU 2, 25k sign on
So roughly 210k first year
