Blinders, Please help me compare these 2 offers TC's offered: LinkedIn (sde1) : 26L base + 21L stocks /4+ 1.6 Pf & gratuity + 2.6L perf 35.4 LPA Zeta (Sde2): 29L base + 14L esops /4+ 3L jb 33.4 LPA TLDR- I'm looking for feedback about infrastructure team at LinkedIn India My priorities: 1. Good wlb, thanks to the peculiar Amazonian culture I get burnt out very fast. 2. Brand name, because we live in india. 3. Work quality: LinkedIn is infra team and zeta is some backend data science team. 4. Quality peers I'm also looking for feedback on 1. Engineer satisfaction, in terms of best practices / quality of work / productivity aids 2. Ownership 3. Work culture 4. Perks 😀 My thoughts: I'm apprehensive LinkedIn infra would be typical back office support and devops kind of work and business full stack teams would get valued more. Someone from LinkedIn please comment on this. I don't have much specific feedback about zeta, since Directi's culture overshadows the image. I know that there's nothing common between those 2. Although feedback on blind is very positive. I can get promoted internally in 1 year if I stay ( provided I can bear it), that's the main dilemma at this point. Current TC: 16 lpa Yoe: 2 #linkedin #zeta #sde #india#swe #software #engineering
Give the TC/yr instead of the aggregated stats.
Make a wild guess of our feedbacks. Amazon TC or Gtfo

How is 35L at 2 yoe a lowball?
I might have built up some biases looking at other people's offers at both places, also I'm really comparing it with the opportunity cost of leaving Amazon sde2 promo comp (32 base)
How far is sde2 promo? If a year and wlb is manageble, staying back till promo would be good option too. At 3 yoe more companies will be open for sde2 (msft L61, uber, oci) You can easily get 35-40 tc at promo and then 45-50 with switch
21lakh stocks in 1 year?
try sharechat if interested.. can go upto 35 base for sde2 + bonus + ESOPs
Asking positively.. Do you get free time to spend that money in sharechat? I heard wlb is one of the worst there.. Correct me if I'm wrong
I start working at 10 -11am and end at 7pm with 1 hour break for lunch. no work on weekends. during my work hours - work is indeed intense some people may call this bad WLB, but I find it decent
Hi op , how did you apply for SDE1 at linkedin. Thanks
I have applied for soooo many job at LinkedIn, I never get a response! YOE: 2, all at Amazon.
Got promoted this quarter.
I applied through referral, my friend had also put in a very good introduction about me to the HM. The college I'm from also kinda helped
Make it a poll please
