Got this offer from Rapid7 for a Lead Software Engineer position in the security team (IDS appliances). Fully remote. Work closely matches with my grad thesis work.
Base Salary: 194K
Bonus: 23K
Stock: 84K (25% per year vesting)
TC: ~238K
Current Salary as SDE 2 in Seattle
TC: ~240K
I can try negotiating with HR to get the salary on par with my current salary. I am hoping that the workload will be a little lighter in Rapid7. And may get some relief from on-call duties. What do you guys think?
