I got an offer from Apple on Tuesday without any numbers but she (the recruiter) asked me for my target and then asked if I could give a decision by Friday. They reason they're rushing it they explained is because they have other candidates they're waiting on.
I told her Friday is not good for me as I have one other final round interview (at Facebook) on Thursday and I want to hear back from them
Then I got a call weds evening detailing the rough numbers over the phone but still no official verbal offer still asking for Friday and i responded again asking for more time going into next week.
Finally, I got the actual written email with the verbal offer on Thursday evening specifying that the offer will expire on Sunday at midnight
My FB recruiter said best case they could get a response by tues/weds (prob weds i would assume) but Apple seems to be playing hard. To make things a little tougher, before the facebook interview happened i tried to buy some time by asking the recruiter for more money so that I might have an easier time accepting the offer without hearing back from the other company. They actually brought it up decently and the updated numbers came in the email i got thursday afternoon. And I was initially expecting a similar offer as E4/E5 from facebook (the recruiter initially said it could be for either position) but now I found out they're only hiring E5 which, if I got the offer, would pin it at a higher offer as well.
Lots of information here maybe not all relevant, but do you think Apple will budge at all and give me until Weds? I'm having a real tough time here figuring out if I should accept the Apple offer or wait it out.

Like Apple doesn't allow outside activity like making apps or working for other projects
Facebook is a bit more lenient
Oh also I think I forgot to mention this is for NY so im a bit off put by the current NY office situation
And since they're all remote you should be able to get them scheduled in a smaller window
I had my screening after work hours and then took the day off for the on-site which was 11-3 eastern time
So I actually worked before / after anyway
