The title is totally bogus.
A VP at Goldman would map to L5 at Amazon or L4 at Google.
So my strong suggestion would be to shift to the tech company. Even if you shift after your ED promotion, you’ll be getting the same level that you’re getting now.
If you think you’ll suddenly get a new level on big tech because of this promo, that’s not gonna happen.
