Ok, hear me out. I have an idea for a website. It is pretty straightforward, but there is nothing like it out there and I think I can monetize through ads. Should I learn full-stack and do it, or should I look for a freelancer and pay them to build the site for me? How can I be sure they wonโt run away with the idea? why take just $2k when you can make $20k a year owning it?
Figure out ways to test desirability, find users, interview them, make some facebook ads, see if people click on them, then build something.
Aren't there contracts for this? They steal it, you sue them.
if your idea is easy to replicate then there is not much you can do about it, the more your site is known the higher the chance that somebody else will copy it. if your idea does require some magic code then you should put that code on the server
2k for a website? A custom website with db, load balancing, proper cybersecurity, e-transaction, etc. costs 40k to 100k usually.
Whatโs the website idea about so I can advise you accordingly
