am working on getting the documents to respond h1b transfer. BAL attorneys were asking detailed roles and responsibilites printed in letterhead. one of my previous company is hesitant to provide very detailed letter printed in letter head as they already gave experience letter. they cant print more than 1 page and with these detailed letter. will simple affidavit signed by ex-colleague should suffice and get it notarized? any other suggessions please?? tc220 thanks in advance!!

In my case, all they want is detailed roles and responsibilities letter from my previous organizations printed in letter head. I was able to get from one company where they gave printed in letter head but the other consulting company said they cannot give but I have same letter signed by co-worker. That’s why checking to see if that is fine or I need to provide both the letters in letterhead

Well, my employment verification letter was nothing more than Two lines saying my job title and pay. If you friend can get a letter with company letter head and sign off, I guess that works. My rfe was a joke, it's like as if they were bored and gave me an RFE. Please consult with BAL on the right course of action. I worked with BAL too and they were very supportive
Did you get specialty occupation? I think USCIS cares more about your courses mapping to your current role and responsibility instead of previous work experiences. I went through RFE and prepared a detailed expanded job description with courses mapping with zero to none focus on my previous job experiences (which I felt weird) but I guess it is what it is
RFE for what? H1B extension or PERM or i140 ? PERM or I 140 RFE almost 8 years back - i had helpful manager from previous company who explained the job roles , technologies worked on. HR just signed along with the manager. My co worker had one of his ex colleague sent a detailed letter with the letter heard from the company. I am not sure whether the above is good enough now considering the increased scrutiny.

I never had RFE during transfer . I believe some experience letter from ex manager or ex colleague would be suffice . Did you join BAL on receipt?
