Uber eats drivers have been sitting in front of my apartment after arriving for long periods of 30 minutes or so. Do you they do this on purpose to get more mileage from Uber eats by increasing time to deliver. Doesn’t make sense to me but I could not think of a valid reason to sit in your right in front of destination for 30 straight minutes

10min later i noticed my spot light kept flashing so i opened the door and to my surprise their was a delivery driver sitting on the steps using their phone watching a video.
I was like wow so fast, he was like i have nothing for you. some back and forth and lots of confusion i realised what they where doing.
anyways.. they asked if they could sit for a bit. i told them it’s a bit weird and declined.
