Hey, I have got an offer from both Microsoft and Shopify. Shopify’s TC is around $140 ( $25k stock + $115k base).
Microsoft team is office enterprise. I don’t the TC yet but should be a little higher than shopify. I have the choice between Remote or hybrid.
I am not sure which one to choose. I want growth opportunity, better management style, but not crazy amount of work load.

Fwiw no company is perfect and I believe your experience everywhere you go does really depend largely on you. Unless the culture is absolutely toxic (Shopify’s culture isn’t), you have the chance to shape your career. I can tell you that a lot of ppl here talking trash about Shopify are unhappy because of the compensation changes (or lack of) that are suppose to happen soon, the stock crashing (this affected me tremendously), or the pay disparity especially for roles outside of the US.
I started last year, and even though the stock crashing left me with over a 60% loss in RSUs, I consider myself still well paid. I don’t lack anything financially I can support a semi large family, splurge on some things, have savings, and the WLB is amazing! The people here are super nice and always willing to help you learn. Can’t emphasize the WLB enough. There are days that I work 4-5 hours and still have an impact on my projects.
Regardless of which company you want to go for, unsolicited tip: negotiate the offer; even if the initial offer is great. Trust me when I say people leave a lot of money on the table by accepting the first offer. Some people in Canada were pissed when I shared my comp, but that’s because I negotiated my offer. It’s harder to get a significant raise later on. The time to really increase your comp is while getting that first offer.
