Current CTC: 55 (fixed) working with a 3 years old tech-enabled-product-startup
Current Experience: 10 yoe
Just started process with Salesforce for LMTS ( waiting for feedback for 1st Interview)
What I should be expecting (if things turn out to be positive somehow π) as BASE/FIXED component for LMTS?
Expecting another offer with following details (documents have been shared, salary has been discussed with HR consultant as well):
90 (Fixed) with techProductStartup backed with famous Media house of India.
Can I negotiate for 1 CR BASE/FIXED with Salesforce leveraging this offer (90-Fixed) ?
Thanks π

Also, why so much focus on the fixed component ? Is there any specific reason why you prefer it ? I personally look at TC, and actually prefer stock heavy comp. Top of band base in a company with no or poor refreshers basically means you'll have to switch after few years, as your comp will lag a lot compared to the industry standards.
The counter offer was from a US based Cloud Security StartUp which had given an offer of 1.2 Cr although with ESOPs.
