Where can I go that will pay me top tc, and how much? Yoe 7, full stack engineer.

    Tier 1 quant shops but the vast majority of FAANG will not be able to clear their interviews

      There’s some level of innate smartness involved in that quick learners and smarter people will probably be able to prep in a lot less time and think faster on the spot during interviews. You could put in a month prepping for FAANG and a year prepping for quant and still clear FAANG with a higher probability

      Quant interviews cover more breadth.

      criticizing wlb sounds like saltiness when it’s no worse than meta/Amazon. I averaged 50 hours a week as a quant and my comp started out at 550k out of a PhD (undergrad new grads with competing offers got paid that amount too). Some people are just inefficient and/or bad at their jobs so they complain about wlb
