I assume job platforms are having a bad time (Glassdoor layoffs happened last month) and struggle will continue due to covid. How's LinkedIn? Do you see them laying off this year? #layoff

Complx this is my experience and could have been a team issue, but while my starting comp at LinkedIn was high, the refreshers we’re not guaranteed. In 2 years I had one refresh which was an 1/8th of my starting grant. Also perf was not as transparent as google. Again this could have been a team/manager issue, but I am much happier with the consistent and predictable comp at G.

Thanks Google. Appreciate your efforts. I will definitely take this into the consideration. Importantly, how are you doing at LinkedIn? Do you like the work and find it meaningful? Do you get to work on higher projects and have more ownership?

No one knows. Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic, but could happen anyways.
