Expecting an E6 SWE offer from #fb
1. What is the max I can negotiate? Levels.fyi has a wide range. I am not sure about competing offers yet. But I am willing to walk away and try again later.
2. The recruiter mentioned a company multiplier for bonus. (a) Does it also apply to the annual bonus and the stock refresher? (b) What has the company multiplier been the last few years?
3. How much sign-on bonus is reasonable to ask? The recruiter said large sign-on has been tough lately and getting to 100K would be hard.
Much appreciate your input.

2. Multiplier is performance related.
1, 1.2, 1.5, 2 & 3 based on PSC
3. 100K
You need competing offer to get max
The recruiter mentioned an individual performance multiplier and a company performance multiplier. IIRC the numbers you list are for the individual performance multiplier (MA, GE, ..). Is this also multiplied with the company multiplier to arrive at the actual bonus and refresher?
The company multiplier does not affect refreshers (only individual multipliers are used for that).
cash_bonus = base x target_pct x company_multiplier x individual_multiplier
assuming your base is 240k, bonus 20%, company multiplier is 1.1, MA this half would get
240k x .5 (2 psc cycles a year) x .2 x 1.1 x 1 = 26.4k
