New grad program involves 9 month paid training in Georgia prior to deployment as SA shadowing senior SAs; what would be a bad/fair/excellent package to receive as a fresh grad? What should I expect? Recieving an offer

From posting:
"So what is this Solution Architect Mentoring program and why is HPE offering it?

This program is an accelerated learning and mentoring program designed specifically to provide valuable training, mentoring and experience for recent college graduates interested in joining our innovative Presales Solution Architect team. During the mentoring program, you will be based in our primary Solution Center located in the Alpharetta suburb of Atlanta Georgia. There you will learn HPE technology via hands-on practice under the guidance of our senior architecture leads. The program is structured around a rotational schedule designed to give you hands-on experience with all HPE technologies. After completing the technical mentorship, you will be advanced to a field sales office where you will continue your mentorship working alongside one of our exceptional field-based Solution Architects. At the conclusion of the program, you will possess the skills and abilities to work as a professional Solution Architect."

Dell has a similar program as well. It starts at 80k a year but it's a 2.5 year program with raises every since months. The intent is to get you to a market system's engineer rate at the end of the two and a half years which is usually around about $130,000 a year.

  • Apply to HashiCorp. I think we have some associate solution engineer and solution architect role open. We offer very competitive offer in Canada compare to the USA.

You’ll probably hit more than 130k CAD and that’s huge in Canada. I’ve been in pre/post sale engineer position for 10+ years.

Wow that's great to know, I'm assuming in Canada salaries would be lower; I'm recieving my offer today in a meeting and will be negotiating; hoping to land a mid to high 70s base; think that's reasonable?
