Declined a Nextdoor offer with 175 base and around 20k options with a S.P. of ~$20.

Looks like the stock is trading at $12 after listing this week. Did I lose out on much by not joining?

Strike price at 20 and market price at 12, what did you lose?

  • That's not how SPAC mergers work. All SPAC stocks get listed at $10.

What Nextdoor offered you for $20 was pre-SPAC stock that was many multiple of $10. What you lost or not depends on where you went.

What team made you an offer? Where did you go?

They had a 3.1:1 split so you actually missed out on 100*20000*(13.19 - 6.45). (I am not sure if by 20k in option you mean 20k contracts or 20k shares, because option contracts represent 100 shares each)

I left a week before IPO. I’ve never been happier. You avoided unneeded headache and many late nights.
