That’s a lot if urban markets and surrounding suburbs in the “overvalued” category. Might be why I’m seeing homes listed at lower and lower prices still missing their offer review dates. I’m looking near the edge of an overvalued county. I’m guessing those demarcation lines are fuzzy in reality near the county borders.

  • Regardless of what is being said this kind of run up is not good in the long run for the health of any community. All the non tech folks will be deprived of buying homes and you don’t want that. There needs to be a balance. Not every company pays like FAANG so even some tech cannot compete. At this rate there will be more inequalities and crime. Who is stay behind to teach your kids? Will teachers with new blood move here? Crime will be higher etc. think long term…

Sunnyvale/Santa Clara county still “undervalued” and low risk of pricing decline. I’d love to believe it as a homeowner but it seems to miss just how much of people’s TC is impacted by this tech stock trend 😬

When are FAANG employees going to start teaching in schools, help with gardening, handle essential services, or cook food at restaurants?
