I see a lot of buzz about Splunk with their performance and compensation on blind. I wanted to share my experience here and see if this is the case with most of their hiring teams.
Recently I applied to splunk and got a mail from hiring manager itself where he mentioned that he was impressed with my work experience and background. Hiring Manager didn't show up for three times and keeps re-scheduling the call. He didn't even bother to apologize. Again for the fourth time he asks for available time slot. I don't want to sound desperate by confirming the time slot but I wanted to tell him that this is not the way hiring should be. I don't want to work for a manager who is irresponsible and ignorant. At the same time I want to give a try to interview at Splunk. How do I reply to him? Is this common with Splunk hiring teams?

If you want a boring prescheduled life, go to Cisco/ibm/etc. If you want to work in fast-paced rapidly changing/growing then get used to this kind of thing.
Did you actually get a confirmed time slot or you just offered 3 times that you are available?
A month later, the hiring manager texted me and we got on a call after work. Now I’m interviewing for a different role on the same HM’s team and it’s just 1 phone interview with the EVP. Interesting process so far but was glad to get the call back from the HM
