This might be a stretch as most are in Bay Area and Seattle. Got an offer with 20% increase and director level position with hand on building a new team possibly in Utah and Bay Area. Currently an em and no increase no plans in promo for a year or so at current. Take the plunge?

If your standards for what level of diversity is acceptable is actually THAT high, then you need to honestly ask yourself who the narrow minded one actually is, because the majority of regions on the planet can't meet your standard.
China - 99% Asian
India - 99% Indian (Asian)
Indonesia - 99% South East Asian
Japan - 99% Asian
Germany - 90% European
Russia - 88% European
UTAH - 75 % non Hispanic white
.. The largest ancestry groups in Utah are:
27.7% English
14.9% Scandinavian: (5.9% Danish, 4.3% Swedish, & 2.4% Norwegian)
12.4% German
7.0% American
6.1% Irish
4.7% Scottish
2.9% Italian
2.2% French
2.2% Welsh
1.4% Scotch Irish
1.3% Swiss
How much is the salary they are offering?
Is the job for their Utah location?
They are offering you 210k for Utah?
You can live like a king for that much money here.
In terms of total buying power (including real estate) that's probably like making at least $500k or more in the bay area.
You can buy a brand new very large home (more than 4000 sq. Feet) with that salary and have plenty of money left over for savings/retirement.
I can't say that much about how it is to work there. But my close relative seems to like it and he gets paid probably between $120-150k (just guessing).
They cater lunch and/or breakfast like every day so he's packed on some weight.

Also, SF/Oakland came in at number 8, covering the rest of the bay area.
All 8 of those metros are places I don't want to live in for reasons unrelated to education level.
