I’ve made it to on-sites at Google and Uber, so hopefully those go well. I interviewed in the past at Google and had 4 “Hires” and 1 “No” (or whatever it is), so I’m optimistic.
With Amazon otoh, I’ve interviewed 2 times and can’t get past the phone screen, even if I solve their LC hard problem. I have extensive leadership experience and would be very surprised if I was getting rejected based on LP questions.
Idk, that’s just my experience. Google’s interviewers have consistently been much more professional than Amazon’s, which have always been super jaded late-30s Indian guys.
You are serious at paying top of market and people show up. It's even easier when the preipo frenzies are down a bit in this market.
