What do you value of comp in Toronto compared to SF/NY. As in what would you accept in moving to Toronto. Taking into account taxes, COL, as well as maybe career growth.

      That’s a pretty good number for Toronto tbh. I hope this just means Canadian salaries are going up!

      It really depends on what you do outside of work. In my opinion I think Toronto is a great place to live but it can be boring/a pain if you’re the adventure type.

      If you can live anywhere in Canada why Toronto?

      Currently in Toronto just looking to find the threshold between staying and leaving. Potential competing offer might not allow me to stay but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

      Where did you end up leaving to? Was it worth it? Would you come back at a 15-20% adjustment?

  • Toronto is an incredible city. If you are young straight single man in SF, Toronto is worth a 20%+ paycut
