Hi All, I am trying to prepare myself for an offer from MS for a CSA role. I have passed all the interviews and they want to extend an offer but I want to get a better idea of what the ranges are. I have read through a ton of posts here and it is really hard to gauge what the Cloud Solution Architect (CSA Role) ranges are.

The position I believe is an L64, could be an L65. It may also be an RGE (Regional Guest Employee) role. Not sure if RGE changes the bands/ranges.

I am looking for the: Base, RSU, Bonus, Sign on, etc for these if anyone can help. I have 5-6 YOE in Azure and 20 YOE in Tech.

Also how hard is it to move levels once you are at MS?

Any info is appreciated.

L65 is principal. Level 64 is senior. Once you become a principal it is difficult to move up. Moving up after principal is talent (rare case), bootlicking and luck.

Once you become a partner (partner is a managerial role, so you will have to become Manager from IC first) the only way to move up is to move out.

Nope. I left Microsoft, now I do not have access to Microsoft lounge on Blind to ask this question over there. Ask someone currently in Microsoft to post this question over there.
