Why Trump is a threat to our health and economy. He is utterly incompetent and not a man of science. For those trying to make excuses for him--USA is not testing and we cannot fight something we refuse to detect and see just to "keep the numbers" low. #DontTestDontTell is almost CRIMINAL and I hope he receives the fucking justice he deserves after America loses so many loved ones unnecessarily.

Here's what effective leadership in other countries did to protect their society and country to avoid exponential growth of the virus to linear growth (which saves a SHIT TON of lives and minimizes disruption to the economy):

Vietnam: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/02/infected-patients-vietnam-cured-coronavirus-miracle-200228035007608.html

Taiwan: https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/what-taiwan-can-teach-world-fighting-coronavirus-n1153826

Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan: https://time.com/5802293/coronavirus-covid19-singapore-hong-kong-taiwan/

Here's why Trump will be responsible for unnecessary deaths that we'll be facing in the next months when we're at WAR with this virus and we need to UNITE instead of being partisan and stupid shit like that. If Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, and HK can get their country together so can we! But no, we have an IDIOT as our President.

February 10: Trump says without evidence that the coronavirus “dies with the hotter weather”

February 24: Trump baselessly claims the situation is “under control”

February 25: A senior White House official falsely claims the virus has been “contained”

February 25: Trump falsely claims Ebola mortality was “a virtual 100%”

February 25: Trump falsely claims “nobody had ever even heard of Ebola” in 2014

February 26: Trump wrongly says the coronavirus “is a flu”

February 26: Trump baselessly predicts the number of US cases is “going very substantially down” to “close to zero”

February 26: Trump wrongly says the flu death rate is “much higher” than Dr. Sanjay Gupta said

February 27: Trump baselessly hints at a “miracle”

February 28: Trump baselessly hints at an immigration link to the virus

February 29: Trump exaggerates Tim Cook’s comments about Apple and China

March 1: Azar wrongly says 3,600 people have been tested

March 2: Trump falsely claims “nobody knew” the number of US flu deaths

March 2: Trump says a vaccine is coming “relatively soon”

March 4: Trump falsely claims Obama impeded testing

March 4: Trump wrongly says as many as 100,000 people died of the flu in 1990

March 4: Trump says “the borders are automatically shut down”

March 4: Trump says he believes there was a coronavirus death in New York, though there hadn’t been one

March 4: Trump falsely claims the Obama administration “didn’t do anything” about H1N1

March 5: Trump misleadingly describes a Gallup poll relating to his handling of the virus

March 5: Trump wrongly claims the virus only hit the US “three weeks ago”

March 6: Azar wrongly claims there is no test shortage

March 6: As the number of cases and deaths in Italy rises, Trump says the number is “getting much better”

March 6: Trump falsely claims anybody can get tested if they want

March 6: Trump exaggerates the number of people on the Grand Princess cruise ship

March 6: Trump falsely says US coronavirus numbers “are lower than just about anybody”

March 6: Trump baselessly muses that “maybe” the coronavirus improved US jobs numbers

March 9: Pence says Trump’s “priority” was getting Americans off the ship

Also, this is such an incredibly dumb thing to say if you actually want people to take it seriously:

February 28: Trump at a rally in South Carolina - “They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything. They tried it over and over. They’d been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning. They lost. It’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax.”

“Now the Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus, you know that, right?”. “Coronavirus, they’re politicizing it. We did one of the great jobs. You say, ‘How’s President Trump doing?’ They go, ‘Oh, not good, not good.’ They have no clue. They don’t have any clue.

Stop blaming Trump. He’s the President yes and he has great influence. But there’s organizations in place that handle this, not Trump. Blame those organizations first. If they were stopped by trump, then blame trump.

I am not into politics at all, I make my judgements based on my own reasoning. At the speech today, Fauci said that the failing in # of tests available is a problem with the system designed previously. Now that the private sector is involved, we can expand our capabilities.

The whole "testing is only necessary if severe" thing isn't from me. I heard that from the coronavirus hotline and my own doctors. I went in with symptoms and the doctor didn't suggest to get a test since I am mostly healthy. Think about it like this: If I do have it or if I don't have it, the outcome is the same: quarantine, practice good hygiene, and come back if I get more severe problems.

    • He needs to take responsibility for his words and actions and stop blaming other people. Obviously he couldn't have stopped this pandemic on his own but listening to the experts and providing accurate information to the public is such an easy thing to do. Like how hard is it to tell people the truth? @amazon testing is needed to identify who's infected and perform contact tracing to reduce the spread. That's how all the countries who have had success against the virus have done it (as detailed in the links)

If you're to believe Blind, Trump is the greatest thing that has happened to the US. Which is bonkers to me. This dude went from calling coronavirus a hoax by the Democrats to declaring a national emergency. But yeah... He's the greatest I'm sure.

Definition of a fact. "a thing that is known or proved to be true."

What is the definition of mishandling? "o handle badly; maltreat"

If we can establish that stating one day that the outcry for a pandemic is the democrats new hoax is contradictory with the action of declaring a national emergency a few weeks later, we can establish that this was mishandled. By definition, it means it was badly handled.

With the above established premise, you can easily state the fact that Trump has atrociously handled this event.

Unless you want to go out there and start redefining the meaning of words. Have a good day sir.

I especially loved the moment today when he started boasting about the new testing response announced today and the falsely claimed that during swine flu there weren't any tests until thousands had died. Of course a reporter called him out on his shit, bringing up that the Obama administration tested 1 million people during the 2009 H1N1 pandemic, and he just rambled about how poorly Obama handled the swing flu. It's like he didn't even realize they were talking about that same disease response. 🙃

Trumptards are cultists. Trump literally murdering their entire families in front of their eyes would have no effect whatsoever.

    Trump is a complete 🤡

He cares about no one but himself.

    He is incompetent.

    His default is to lie.

A lot of the time, his clown-like behavior doesn’t cause harm. In this case, the US’s delayed action will lead to the unnecessary deaths of thousands of people, perhaps more
