As someone who just starting watching baseball for fun and has been following cricket for ages now, I still fail to fathom how people enjoy baseball.

  • Well, you wouldn’t know, because you didn’t watch baseball since childhood and idolized someone, you might have come to USA recently to be introduced to baseball.

    Don’t disrespect someone’s likes, i grew up with it, I have memories attached as you do with cricket.

      By no means am I trying to disrespect it, in fact I’m trying to understand it and try to follow the sport, to me it seems like the game requires skill to play but for an audience there really is 4-5 interesting bursts in the game which dictate which way the game goes, I’m trying To understand how people can glue themselves to hours of non activity

    Baseball is by far my favorite sport to watch and play. I understand a lot of people find it boring compared to sports like football where there is constant action, but if you take the time to really learn the game, you will find there is so much strategy underneath the surface of what you see.
