They just hired a guy I had considered as an L6 as a VP.
It's a show biz, won't go there ! Have you seen one real product demo or at least one strong tech article from them?
They also just hired a guy who was a strong no hire in an interview loop I was on for an SDM role. Ugh.
What is an “SDM”?
Anyone know how this company is doing now?
I know this technology space really well. My recommendation, don't go there.. don't deal with the fraudsters. Here is one of the courts cases that one of the founders is dealing with (https://www.leagle.com/decision/infdco20180130835). Product & upper management sucks big time.
Can you elaborate more on this? Sent you a DM
Guys, anyone knows how is the work culture here at AISERA?
Can someone please tell me more about Aisera and the company's culture?
Any update for 2022?
Aisera has a strong customer base using the platform and it includes some big names too. Engineering: Good team with talented tech directors leading the team and collaborative team members. The base team which built the product are still around while few have moved on, so the majority of the core team is still keeping the product running. PM: I would say it's haphazard, they are trying to improve it but still lagging behind to see where the product should lead to. All features are customer driven so it's like introducing one up for everyone which the Customer Success team is unable to keep track of , solution engineering blinded and have no clue. The negative reviews you see are mostly by the sales team because they closely work with upper management. Usually lower level engineers dont have to deal with this. Sprint & Release planning: Aisera has operated for 5 years in no particular order. Efforts are being put to streamline that process. Things are looking better than they did before with engineering reorg and release management. They are looking for new talent unfortunately due to high pressure to fill in openings and the bad reviews causing few not to accept the offer, they are not choosing the right talent to join Aisera engineering which can reduce the tech dev stress on core engineers. Product itself has great potential and better than many other Ai bots out there. Join only if you are capable and interested in picking up things fast, learn and grow may be professionally outside of Aisera ( meaning, this tech you work on in Aisera has good traction outside helps get interview calls). with in Aisera there is no streamlined employee review process your pay may not increase a lot based on your starting salary, so make sure ask for more when you join they usually low ball.
