Hey all,
To get formalities out of the way, 3 YOE with $170k TC π.
I ran into Amortized Cost in CTCI and am curious if anyone's actually been asked to find it for an algorithm in an interview. I get the concept and could do an easy problem or one I've seen, but even with the "Accountant method" I'd have a hard time doing it on a more difficult example (like a binary counter one I found online).
Is this a subject I can skim and skip past? I want to learn everything I can to increase my chances, but don't want to waste time on things that don't matter.
Thanks in advance.
