You realize the timezone difference alone makes it very hard to work with people? How many European languages do you speak fluently?
Also education is cheap in the EU so there is an abundance of managers already.

      OP
I can only speak English. I understand there are enough managers in EU but if there is a suitable candidate they might call for interview right? Given that visa is not a big concern in most EU countries except UK. Thoughts?

  • Forget working in Europe, OP. Specially when looking for non-tech roles, because the cultural connection matters more than your skills. Your MBA from top tier Indian college is a bullshit no one cares. Also, you are pushing for a Ecommerce, Retail position not even for a PM Role.

    Your cultural connection matters more.

Another alternative is to work for a company with offices in India and those countries, you may be able to get a transfer.

EU is big on local candidates who speak local language. At least one local language. Or, those who graduate from EU schools like Bocconi, HEC etc...

Nobody cares about your MBA from top school. Europe has enough managers. You also need linguistic skills to survive in that country as a manager.
