Current TC ~300k. 210 base. About 6 years experience.
Position: SWE, Location: SoCal (will be remote)
Stock will best over 4 years (33%, 33%, 22%, 12%)
Google offered a few options
1) Option 1 (the original offer):
Base:191k
Stock:345k
15% bonus
No sign on bonus
After asking for 200k base and 400k stock
2) Option 2
Base: 200k
Stock: 310k
15% bonus
No sign on bonus
3) Option 3
Base: 200k
Stock: 287k
15% bonus
18k sign on bonus
Ultimately, TC comes out a bit higher than current TC. I matched with an interesting team and there's room to grow. I feel like I'm close to the ceiling at my current place in terms of seniority and I feel like I'm not learning anything new. But are these fair L5 Google offers? Which should I go with? I don't know if I should negotiate again.
