I am contemplating transferring to Uber India from Uber USA and have some questions regarding the same. I could not find any concrete information on the intranet, that's why asking from people who have first-hand experience.
1) What is the relocation package that Uber offered? Does Uber provide both lump-sum and assisted relocation options?
2) If assisted relocation option is there, what all services does it includes?

1) Did not get the choice for the relocation amount. It was reimbursement only. The amount was north of 10k USD and is different for single vs family moves. They promise to reimburse tickets, stay, even furniture purchases after the move. Havenβt tested out the reimbursements yet.
2) Assisted relocation includes shipping arrangements, tax consultation for first year etc.
There is definitely a page on the intranet for this.
Couple of questions, please take your time to answer them.
1) Do you need to go through an interview loop to get transferred to India ?
2) How did you find managers in india ? Like through internal portal ?
3) How is pay in India ? Have you had any negotiations on overall TC or is it fixed ?
4) How does stocks vesting work ?
5) If you want to move back to USA, what are your chances ?
