Stock trading W8/W9 form

I have an account with interactive broker.

My tax consultant told me that I should be considered as a non-resident for 2018, thus fill a w8 form.

However, once I updated my mailing address to US, it only gave me the option of W9 form. I have opened a ticket with them for over 2-week and still unresolved.

Anyone has similar experience or know how to escalate it?
