With the news of twitter being WFH indefinitely it brings up a lot of potential opportunities - does anyone have experience with pernament WFH lifestyle/challenges or know of any potential jobs?

  • It’s been 3 months full-WFH and 3 years before that of 3-WFH days a week.

    - Shower and get dressed right after you wake up before you start working.
    - if you can, do your walk or morning exercise routine before that shower
    - make a very clear division between the physical space & time for work vs everything else.
    - 8 hours a day? Do all your work within that time and don’t let it leak into your other time.

The only challenges for me were the points above. They sound simple but it takes time to get used to a routine and get yourself to respect it (and get others used to respecting it as well).

Now I really love the full time WFH and don’t understand how people get crazy because they don’t have face to face time with your coworkers for “socialization”. I know it’s tough during covid but under normal circumstances having social circles outside of work is very important.

  • Very, very clear space dedicated for work. Don't ever use it for anything other than work and don't do work in any other space.

To permanent WFH employees: how do you separate work from leisure? I feel like the lines are really blurring and it’s only been about two months...
