Hello all. I have received an external job offer as a Project Coordinator and would like to counter as it is lower than I expected.
I would really appreciate any advice/feedback/etc.
Thank you

Always be respectful and don’t be smug or presumptuous when you are about to counter.
If they ask you how much you are currently making, I would advice to avoid giving them an answer because what you currently make may not reflect what the market is willing to pay you. Instead provide them with a figure that you believe is the fair value for someone in your field/experience.
Good luck!
