Not sure if recruiters are being upfront about this.

The Meta PERM issue hasn't been resolved (despite the settlement) and likely won't be for at least another year.

Please don't join Meta and then get surprised.

As an immigrant, stability >>>>>> $$$.

Thanks for the update. It is strange that if your pd is current and your perm is not processed then you have to leave the country

  Also i am aware of a person changed job after his pd became current..Meaning he did not apply for i485..instead moved to new company that will do his perm/i140 after 1 year of joining.

  Afaik, the rule is the PD has the be current for a year, then the restrictions kick in.
  
  So either they switched before that or as you said, the govt doesn’t tie PD date to H1 appl

I send mail to Meta recruiter asking abt perm and the reply says “Meta has completed making the necessary updates as part of our settlement agreement with DOL and have begun preparatory steps for new PERM applications.”

Can anybody pls let me know is this information correct?
