Background: 4.5 yoe @ median size company, current salary ~260k.
Meta(Facebook): E4, TC: 320k + 75k sign on
Asana: 340k + 45k sign on
(The Salary from Asana didn’t meet my expectation so I am joining Meta. )
I personally prefer big companies like Meta, and meta is closer to my home so less commute time, but the level from Meta is only E4.
L5 offer from Asana is very appealing, but I am a bit concerned for the future of Asana since the stock dropped 78% already from the highest point. Another concern for Asana is the stock-refresh policy, anyone familiar with that? I know meta & google have very good refresh policy, your salary will increase over years. Other companies(e.g. ServiceNow) your salary will basically stay the same or very little increase...
Which one you would choose if you were me and why? Thanks.
