I am currently negotiating offer for Senior Manager, Data Engineering at Capital One. They have offered
200k Base
14k Target Bonus
50k Sign on
Loc- NYC
YOE-13
I am being told by the recruiter that they dont offer equity compensation at this level. They say it is available at Director and above positions or at Distinguished Engineer level.
Do they make an exception ever to this policy?
Current TC- 185k

Obviously outside of tech it is unusual to get equity until you get to VP much less Director so that's nice that C1 does that.
