Hi everyone,
I’m brushing up my resume. Would like to hear what to include and what not to include in resume. It is open-ended, please comment from your experience or good resumes you have seen, what works and what doesn’t.
Thanks!

Use the x,y,z formula. Achieved X as measured by Y by doing Z
2-3 per job
Including a summary/statement depends on level/experience…
1. Talk about what you achieved in your role, it’ll be much better if you can quantify it with numbers as well! Sprinkle in programs & coding languages you use for relevant projects
2. Tailor your resume according to the role you’re applying for but also don’t lose sense of your individual achievements (jobscan.co is great for finding keywords)
3. Make sure it’s easy to read visually & that people can find information quickly (highly recommend Novoresume or Zety)
4. Include your LinkedIn if it’s up to date & has consistent language with your resume
