Hey, I am a new grad based in India. I have accepted a job at a company for SWE role.
The joining and onboarding is still 2-3 months away and they have recently sent some customised goodies (my name etc).

So I have seen people (other graduates who will be joining with me) writing appreciation post on LinkedIn for sending goodies and tagging HR Manager.

Do I need to create a LinkedIn post too OR can I just send "Thank you" message to HR Manager through Whatsapp OR what do you suggest?

You won't get appraisal and good rating if you don't thank your recruiter, teammates, recruiter, hr, intervieweers, manager, cto, CEO, vp etcc publicly on Linkedin

Announcing a new offer is great for clout on LinkedIn. You may get a few decent connections out of it.

I’m in the same situation as you. Thinking about making a post a few weeks closer to my start date

If you love communicating, do post. If u are an introvert like me, ask them to have you onboard next week instead.
