Join or don’t join? I have not seen anything good about it ans my recruiter said they have no room for negotiation for salary and the salary is 57k which would be a slightly different from my current salary.
Infosys is a terrible company. Also idk where you're located but if US 57k is extremely low pay. Look for something better.
Is it barely more than minimum wage?
Yoe / Current TC
If you need a job take it, otherwise I would try and find something else.
What if one wants to learn the game of life and infosys teaches it through 4 variables. Maybe join and leave and join again to see if there is really a point in doing something 4 times. :)
Take the job and try searching for other. Infosys has the bestbrand name of all the indian companies. Or join a startup with equity even if they pay low.
I started in infosys because when I graduated there weren’t resources like blind. There is not a lot of development roles in infosys and they’ll most likely bench you or put you on a support position. I’m still trying to dig out of the grave I dug for myself three years later
were you able to make the jump to Sprinklr directly from infi?
A complete outsourcing shit show
Maybe some enjoy it and some don't. And the some that do enjoy it keep coming back to where they started in life. :)
Lol you mean keep coming back to no where
What’s your current salary and years of experience? And your location? If you’re hating your current job or if this one is a pay jump, I would say take it. But otherwise interview for other companies
It's a horrible company. The work and culture are pathetic. The hikes are a joke too. It has an attrition rate of 22%. That's an indicator of how many employees dislike working there. Managers and clients are often rude to employees. Best to avoid working at such a toxic workplace.
Joining Infosys and similar (WITCH) is a Career suicide. In India only those students join it who are not from CS or are in lower performing range in CS class and can’t get placed anywhere else.
Do you really want the WITCH stamp on your resume?
I don’t know how much harm that would do to my resume
It would be hard to escape that's for sure, nobody in recruiting takes these companies seriously.
