I made through and discussing an offer currently.

Recruiter first offer was

Base- $140k
Sign on- $20k
Bonus -15%
RSUs- she is saying we don’t offer to manager ( but previous a recruiter at Nike mentioned I could get RSUs)

This is $30k less than my current compensation. Does Nike negotiate and is it possible to bring my total comp closer to $210k. Right now they are at $181k.

Sounds like they’re trying to bring you on in U band. E band gets RSUs.

It’s not good where I am current at. I have long hours many days I have to work in the night too. Sometimes weekends.

It’s quite demanding and I have a toddler who is getting affected with my toxic work culture.

I have pushed back on the offer and asked for more but recruiter is very firm. She is not willing to get me anymore base or sign on. If I tell her “I can’t accept” will she then get me what I am asking or would they say “fine you can leave, we have many more candidates.” Any idea on what is Nike approach?

I don’t know any recruiter that would just get you what you’re asking for after declining. I promise you there is someone else in the hopper, though.

It comes down to how desperate you are to get out. That WLB might be worth more to you. You can always keep looking.

How’s is Nikes TC at 181? You don’t count sign on bonus. So TC is 161. That’s a big drop from 210. FWIW don’t count on bonus payout at 15%. First couple years I was there we only hit +/- 60% payout which meant my bonus was almost cut in half. Besides nike being a hot mess that I don’t recommend… they should at least beat your current TC to even consider making the move
