My friend has been harassed and put into psychiatric hospital by her manager. She was in pip and finally she left amazon.
She is very good but due to two senior SDEs who are closer to managers are the reason.
She was so into amazon and tried her best to keep the doors open fir comeback.
Now the same manager also left amazon mostly he was out into pip after few more folks left the team.
Now that the manager is pipโed , can she request hr to relook into her pip file and consider for come back?

Here is the thing OP: itโs the culture (not just one bad manager) as these things flourishes under organizational culture. Ridding one manager does not change the culture that allows such behaviors to flourish.
Both you and the other person should take the red pill in order to awaken to the realities of the situation. Stop taking the blue-pill, it isnโt good for you.
And here is what you are in denial of: It is a forgone conclusion - once pipped means you are NEVER coming back.
Wake up to realism. Iโm already questioning your own mental well-being.
