Would you go from a Senior Manager Position at Salesforce to a Manager position at facebook or google? is the tittle drop worth it? non tech role.
Google will buy Salesforce. Soon or later, it will be one company
No
Salesforce titles are over inflated by definition. Mostly because it is a sales company (impressive titles when talking to customers sometimes help). For example, I have seen more than once a M1 manager from Microsoft going to Salesforce with a “Director of Engineering” title.
Agree.....Titles at Salesforce are inflated... If you enjoy your team and what you are doing, that's the ONLY reason to stay at Salesforce. Don't stay because of some arbitrary title.
also.... know of an SVP Salesforce that went to Google as a VP. So never mind your senior manager -> manager!!
My concern about title is that it’ll take me like 3 years to get back Into the senior band.
again, don't get so hung up on title..... focus on what you'll be doing. and if that will lead to more career growth and new opportunities......
Titles are just words and words are cheap. If the TC is worth it then do it
I’m not sure if the TC would be better or worse. I know google or Facebook pays well, but I’m not sure if they pay so good that they would pay more than a senior manager elsewhere.
What’s the range for senior manager at crm?
