honestly, how is the work life balance as a mfg engineer at SAS? I know glassdoor says there is none, but what are realistic work hours like? 8-6 everyday or a few times a week? are there certain modules that are better in terms of WLB than others? if you do work the normal 8-5 would your manager get mad?

If you coming from TI, then ya you might fit right in. We had a few people from TI in device in 2014-15 but they left. I left last year, barely learned anything 'industry standard'
I have a friend who works at the Samsung in Austin, and he say his wlb is great. He is a layout engineer. He also is making like 130TC.
