    My spouse did this. She had a Meta E4 offer(~300K). Microsoft bumped her pay from 190K to 275K at L62. She accepted and stayed back. She loves Msft and wants to retire here. Only did this for the money.

  • I just tried to do this last week and there may be some action this week but last week it was not seeming likely. I am a cleared engineer working on airgapped clouds TC ~250 L61 . Offers AWS 300k Oracle 325k . my skip and double skip we’re out of town last week my boss talk to HR and they said basically no chance. But then one of my teammates quit on the same day I had this conversation with my boss. I’m leaning towards going to Oracle because I’ve been offered a job that aligns better with my skills and the AWS role sounds like really bad work life balance.
